OnePlus is preparing to launch its next mid-range lineup, the Nord CE6 series, in India on May 7, 2026. The lineup is expected to include two models the standard Nord CE6 and the more affordable Nord CE6 Lite each targeting different segments of the market.
The OnePlus Nord CE6 Lite appears to focus on battery life and value. Promotional material highlights a 7000mAh battery, along with a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a high refresh rate display. The device is positioned as a practical option for users prioritizing longevity over raw performance.
In contrast, the OnePlus Nord CE6 is aimed at performance-oriented users. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 7-series processor, a larger 8000mAh battery, and a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Additional features such as high touch sampling rate and reverse charging suggest a focus on gaming and heavy usage scenarios.
Both devices emphasize battery capacity as a key differentiator in the segment, where most competitors still operate in the 5000mAh range. Durability features and service support also appear to be part of the company’s positioning strategy.
With the launch scheduled for May 7, pricing and availability details are expected to be announced at the event.
